You will need to enter your first name, last name, and student ID number. You will then receive a username and create an eCampus password \u2014 keep these somewhere safe!\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"fullwidth \"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=JhsIqLUjZlY\">Watch our video on how to register for eCampus<\/a><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">_______________________<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading fullwidth\">Step 4.2 \u2014 Two hours after setting up eCampus<strong>, set up your<\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/kb-interim.its.uri.edu\/entry\/59\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> <\/a><strong>Single Sign-On (SSO) password<\/strong>.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"fullwidth \">For most students, your SSO account will be active and ready for you 2 hours after you set up your eCampus account, <strong>but you must <strong>set up your<\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/kb-interim.its.uri.edu\/entry\/59\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> <\/a><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/its.uri.edu\/getting-started-students\/\">Single Sign-On (SSO)<\/a> password<\/strong> to complete the process<\/strong>. Your URI SSO gives you convenient, secure access to many URI applications \u2014 so don&#8217;t forget this step! <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">_______________________<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading fullwidth\">Step 4.3 \u2014 Complete Your Financial Responsibility Agreement<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"fullwidth \">Complete your&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/web.uri.edu\/tuition-billing\/student-financial-responsibility-agreement\/\">Student Financial Responsibility Agreement<\/a><\/strong>. This step is mandatory for all URI students. The agreement clearly explains our policies related to e-billing, late payment penalties, contact methods, etc. You will need to log into&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/ecampus-cs-prd.uri.edu\/psp\/saprodstu\/?cmd=login\"><strong>eCampus<\/strong><\/a>, click the Financial Responsibility Agreement item in your To-Do List, and follow the steps provided. (Note: Follow the link above. Do not try to log into eCampus financials.)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">_______________________<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading fullwidth\">Step 4.4 \u2014 Access URI Email and Other Accounts<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"fullwidth \"><a href=\"https:\/\/its.uri.edu\/getting-started-students\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Setting up URI Email:<\/strong><\/a> After setting up your SSO, you can go to <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/mail.google.com\" data-type=\"URL\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">gmail.com<\/a><\/strong> and log in with your URI SSO credentials to start using your URI email and all of our key programs and systems.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"fullwidth \">Use your new <strong>URI SSO<\/strong> to access all of your key programs and systems through <a href=\"https:\/\/myapps.microsoft.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>MyApps<\/strong><\/a>. These include, but are not limited to eCampus, Microsoft tools, and Brightspace.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"fullwidth \">After setting up your accounts, complete your <a href=\"https:\/\/uri.ws01-securityeducation.com\/\"><strong>cybersecurity training<\/strong><\/a>. Cybersecurity awareness training is critical in minimizing the serious cybersecurity threats posed to end users by phishing attacks and social engineering.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"fullwidth \"><strong>Contact the <a href=\"https:\/\/its.uri.edu\/it-organization\/it-service-desk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">IT Service<\/a> desk<\/strong> if you have questions or need assistance. <strong>NOTE<\/strong>: URI no longer supports Windows 10 machines.<\/p>\n\n<\/section>\n\n<section class=\"cl-tab \"><h1>Step 5:<br \/>\nAcademic Advising<\/h1>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading fullwidth\"><strong>Make your advising appointment<\/strong>. Registration opens on April 22, through the start of the school year.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"fullwidth \">You will be able to <a href=\"http:\/\/web.uri.edu\/advising\/advising-resources\/make-an-advising-appointment\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>schedule an advising appointment through Starfish<\/strong><\/a> approximately 24-48 hours after setting up your URI accounts.<strong>Please find <a href=\"https:\/\/web.uri.edu\/transfer\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">additional advising information here<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"fullwidth \"><strong>Remember to send your official transcript(s)<\/strong> from your previous institution(s) to <a>transferadmission@uri.edu<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n<\/section>\n\n<section class=\"cl-tab \"><h1>Step 6:<br \/>\nMath Placement <\/h1>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading fullwidth\"><strong>If you have no history of math on your transcript, take your <a href=\"https:\/\/www.math.uri.edu\/placement\/\">Math Placement Exam<\/a><\/strong> before meeting with your advisor by following the steps below.*<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"fullwidth \">Please allow one hour for the exam.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"fullwidth \">The placement test results will be used to determine the most appropriate courses for you as you move forward with your college coursework. You will meet with an advisor at Orientation to discuss appropriate math courses based on your score. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"fullwidth \">The exam is free and can be taken up to five times so take full advantage of it!&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"fullwidth \">The math placement website also features FAQs and information to help you understand your score.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"fullwidth \"><strong>* <em>Note: If you are already enrolled in math at the college level, <em>there is no need to take the math placement exam<\/em>.
