Orientation and Advising Options for Transfer Students
Transfer students with 24+ transferable credits have 2 options for advising and class registration. Students with less than 24 transfer credits need to attend our traditional new student orientation.
OPTION 1: Register to attend our June 20th Transfer Orientation and Advising Day. The program runs from 8:30am until about noon. Register using the “REGISTER FOR ORIENTATION HERE” box on the right column of this page.
OPTION 2: Contact your department chair, academic advisor, or dean’s office and schedule an appointment of mutual convenience. Contact information is below.
Before attempting to be advised and register for classes , be sure that you have established an eCampus account. Visit www.uri.edu/ecampus and click on First Time Users Register Here . Contact the URI HELP Desk if you have any trouble — 401-874-HELP(4357). When meeting with your advisor, plan to bring a copy of your transcript(s)
