Biography

Robyn Riley Perry earned her BS in Accounting and Business Management at Salve Regina University and her MS in Nutrition at the University of Rhode Island. She also completed her Dietetic Internship at the University of Rhode Island. She has taught as an adjunct at the university since 2006, teaching various courses such as Introduction to Nutrition, Food, Nutrition and People, Nutrition in the Lifecycle II and the Foodservice Management I & II courses. A Registered Dietitian for 22 years, she earned her CDE in 2000 and is currently the Nutrition Director for Camp Surefire, RI’s only camp for children living with Type1 Diabetes. She was formerly Nutrition Manager for a large Head Start and Early Head Start program in RI and continues to serve the agency as an RD consultant as well as providing consultation on operations. She also serves as consultant to The Season’s East Greenwich, an Assisted Living facility in Rhode Island since 2016.
