The lab now uses the <strong>NLD LaTeX package<\/strong> (<code>nld.cls<\/code>) for reports, proposals and letters, and a beamer theme for talks. Get it from the <a href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/drive\/folders\/1R-tPBZQOMv1I7zmc6jsQxageWZwZ7q2E\">LaTeX folder<\/a> of the NLD brand files (URI sign-in required). For figures, follow the <a href=\"https:\/\/web.uri.edu\/nld\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/1815\/nld-figure-guide.pdf\">NLD figure preparation guide (PDF)<\/a>.<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At the NLD, we standardize on a LaTeX package for preparing technical documents starting from reports and papers to theses and dissertations. We use an online LaTeX typesetting tool Overleaf (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.overleaf.com\/\">overleaf.com<\/a>). To familiarize yourself with LaTeX and Overleaf, I recommend you watch these <a href=\"https:\/\/youtube.com\/playlist?list=PLHXZ9OQGMqxcWWkx2DMnQmj5os2X5ZR73&amp;si=Jpxq88VqxiA0Z9C2\">LaTex Tutorials<\/a> on YouTube.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The 2021 <a href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/file\/d\/16KJIXiQdJ9QPcuyPK-vKoHN-kOZPxmfb\/view?usp=sharing\">basic NLD paper template<\/a> remains available, but new documents should use the NLD LaTeX package above.
