The Get Housing RIght Conference<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

A free, two-day event presented by the Center for Nonviolence and Peace Studies with support from Homes RI<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Get Housing RIght<\/strong> <\/em>conference will explore initiatives to improve Rhode Island\u2019s affordable housing options. A free<\/strong> combined online and in-person event, the conference <\/em>invites experts in affordable housing, local zoning, community development, finance, reentry, supportive housing, and local government to plot pathways towards expanded affordable housing through policies, best practices, and grassroots efforts. The conference will identify immediate, short-term, and long-term strategies from around the country and apply them to the Rhode Island context.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thursday, May 12 <\/strong>
Day one features panelists from across the country, offering best practice reflections and bold ideas suited to our Rhode Island context.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The state of RI’s Public Housing<\/strong>
