He wrote\u00a0<em>Let the Trumpet Sound: A Biography of Martin Luther King.\u00a0<\/em>Although Jill planned to be a novelist, when she read that book, she was awed by the power of nonviolence and shocked that she\u2019d never been made aware of that aspect of Dr. King\u2019s work.\u00a0\u201cSomeone should make a movie about that,\u201d Jill thought, and today, she is a screenwriter tackling a script about nonviolence.\u00a0Jill also teaches both high school and college.
