She was an active member of Pax Christi\u00a0Hudson Valley and an NGO delegate representing Pax Christi International at the United Nations.\u00a0While teaching, Madeline developed a student mediation program. She trained in the prison ministry&#8217;s Alternatives to Violence program. Madeline relocated to Westerly RI where she is an active member of the Westerly Area Peace and Justice Group and Pax Christi Rhode Island. Madeline has 11 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
