Nursing ambassadors also attend special events on behalf of the University. Nursing Ambassadors participate in a variety of recruitment activities both on and off campus. Check out the list of over 100 student clubs and organizations <a href=\"http:\/\/studentorg.apps.uri.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here.<\/a><\/p>\n<p><\/section><section class=\"cl-tab \"><h1>Policies &amp; Requirements<\/h1><\/p>\n<h3>Undergraduate Guidelines and Policies<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Entry policy into the Pre-licensure Clinical Course Sequence:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>First-year students with no previous college study, are admitted to the Fannon Institute for Student Success with a major in nursing. After completion of the pre-requisite courses (BIO 220, 221, 222, 223, CHM 103, 124, NUR 100, WRT 104 or 106) with a minimum grade of C or higher in each course and 3.00 overall grade point average, students will be considered for transfer into the College of Nursing and the clinical course sequence. Seats are limited and <em>competitively <\/em>granted based on GPA.
