{"id":18866,"date":"2021-07-02T12:00:51","date_gmt":"2021-07-02T16:00:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/web.uri.edu\/nursing\/?p=18866"},"modified":"2021-07-02T12:00:51","modified_gmt":"2021-07-02T16:00:51","slug":"college-of-nursing-75th-anniversary-signature-event-details-announced","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/web.uri.edu\/nursing\/2021\/07\/02\/college-of-nursing-75th-anniversary-signature-event-details-announced\/","title":{"rendered":"College of Nursing 75th Anniversary Signature Event details announced"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>As the <a href=\"https:\/\/web.uri.edu\/nursing\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">URI College of Nursing<\/a> continues to recognize its 75th anniversary, the anniversary committee has planned a &#8220;signature event&#8221; to celebrate the milestone.<\/p>\n<p>College personnel, including faculty, staff, students and alumni will gather at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wyndhamhotels.com\/wyndham\/middletown-rhode-island\/wyndham-newport-hotel\/overview\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Wyndham Newport Hotel, 240 Aquidneck Ave., Middletown, <\/a>on Thursday, September 30. A reception is scheduled for 5 p.m., followed by a dinner and speaking program at 6, during which 75 &#8220;Luminaries&#8221; from the College&#8217;s history will be recognized.<\/p>\n<p>The Wyndham is a beautiful location close to the center of Newport and the Kingston Campus. The date also allows attendees to participate in a variety of activities that are scheduled for Alumni and Family Weekend held at the University.<\/p>\n<p>Tickets for the event cost $60 per person, $50 for recent graduates.
