Her interests stem from her public health policy background and the realization that health and health care in this country cannot improve significantly unless these challenges are overcome.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_3731\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-3731\" style=\"width: 150px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-3731 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/web.uri.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/963\/AngelitaHensman.jpg\" alt=\"Angelita Hensman\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" srcset=\"https:\/\/web.uri.edu\/nursing\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/963\/AngelitaHensman.jpg 150w, https:\/\/web.uri.edu\/nursing\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/963\/AngelitaHensman-125x125.jpg 125w, https:\/\/web.uri.edu\/nursing\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/963\/AngelitaHensman-80x80.jpg 80w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 150px) 100vw, 150px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-3731\" class=\"wp-caption-text\"><em>Angelita Hensman<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Future of Nursing Scholar <strong>Angelita Hensman<\/strong> is interested in patient safety in the Neonatal intensive Care Unit (NICU), with a focus on developing innovative systems to reduce preventable harm. Despite advances in health care and technology, patient safety remains an important global health goal among the neonatal population.
