The same rate applies to students who are in-state (Rhode Island) or out-of-state residents.<\/p>\n<p>Interns are eligible for federal loans to cover the MS tuition, internship tuition and living expenses. A transcript fee of $50 and a document fee of $115 are charged in the first term only.<\/p>\n<h3>Health Insurance<\/h3>\n<p>University-sponsored health insurance is not available to students enrolled in this program.<\/p>\n<h3>Financial Aid<\/h3>\n<p>Students enrolled in the online MS in Dietetics Program are eligible for financial aid. There is no financial need requirement to qualify.&nbsp;Financial aid can cover the majority of expenses for the program including the cost of tuition and fees, the dietetic internship fee (interns only), and living expenses.&nbsp;<span class=\"\">F<\/span><span class=\"\">inancial aid is not disbursed until the beginning of the fall semester so students accepted from the November internship match should make alternate arrangements to pay for the internship fees that are due prior to the start of the MS program<\/span><span class=\"\">.&nbsp;<\/span>Students will need to file a <a href=\"https:\/\/fafsa.ed.gov\/\">FAFSA<\/a> in order to apply for financial aid.<\/p>\n<p>Sodexo Dietetic Interns are eligible for $49,373 in financial aid for the 2021-22 academic year.&nbsp; This aid is in two different types of loans \u2013 unsubsidized loans ($20,500) and GRAD PLUS ($22,873). Sodexo Registered Dietitians are eligible for $37,623 in financial aid for the 2021-22 academic year. This aid is in two different types of loans \u2013 unsubsidized loans ($20,500) and GRAD PLUS ($17,123). You can review the <a href=\"https:\/\/studentaid.ed.gov\/sa\/types\/loans\/plus\">Federal Student Loans website<\/a> to see the differences in the two types of loans.&nbsp;<span style=\"font-family: Charter, Georgia, serif;font-size: 20px\">You can only borrow up to half of the Unsubsidized Direct Loans in the fall semester.&nbsp; The rest of the money borrowed must be PLUS Loans or alternative loans.&nbsp;<\/span>Private bank loans may cost less than GRAD PLUS loans, so students are encouraged to check these sources.<\/p>\n<p>Additional funds are available for the fall of 2022. &nbsp;Students must refile a FAFSA in order to receive aid for the fall of 2022.<\/p>\n<p>Both loans begin accruing interest when the money is disbursed. Repayment begins 6 months after graduation, you leave school, or you drop below half-time enrollment.<\/p>\n<p>Please remember that none of this information will be available in your eCampus account until you register and the bill and financial aid package is created.
