INSPIRE Environmental is a growing environmental science consultancy, based in Newport, RI, and looking to add an exceptional technician to their entrepreneurial team. <\/p>\n
Interested persons who want to go to sea and collect unique seafloor imagery and ensure that data are collected correctly and safely, 100% of the time are invited to apply. Offshore projects may range from short, local deployments to extended, international expeditions. Project durations may require spending a few days to several weeks offshore. The selected candidate must represent INSPIRE\u2019s core mission and values in a professional, courteous, and ethical manner<\/p>\n
The Marine Science Field\/QHSSE Manager will play a vital role in planning and staging field operations and maintaining safe and healthy operations; managing scientific operations; maintaining subsea equipment; and supervising field scientists and technicians. This individual must be able to work independently, must have strong troubleshooting and technical problem-solving skills, and demonstrated project management and organizational skills. This position requires an individual to be flexible, multi-task effectively, and possess excellent documentation and communication skills. The Field Manager may also have the opportunity to participate in fieldwork, including offshore deployments.<\/p>\n
