See <a href=\"https:\/\/web.uri.edu\/olli\/programs\/\">catalog &amp; semester webpage<\/a> for details.<\/p>\n<h3>Cost:<\/h3>\n<p>Membership is $65 per year. <em>(Membership Fee is non-refundable)<\/em>.&nbsp; Course fees vary depending on the number of class meetings ($10 \u2013 $60 range), with a number of extra value programs offered free to OLLI members. See perks listed below.<\/p>\n<h3>Email updates<\/h3>\n<p>Weekly emails are sent informing you of upcoming activities, programs and special events. The OLLI web page also repeats most of these reminders under the <a href=\"https:\/\/web.uri.edu\/olli\/news\/\"><strong>News<\/strong> <\/a>heading at the top of our page.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Enrollment\/Class Size<\/h3>\n<p>Registration is secured when credit card, ACH, or check payment is successfully entered into our online registration system by member or staff.&nbsp; After submission of your course registration, you will be automatically enrolled. If the class is over-subscribed, you can add your name to a wait list without payment. This is encouraged, as often times openings become available at the last minute. Wait lists are automatically generated by the system. Registrations are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Some classes do fill up quickly.&nbsp; Class size varies depending on the subject matter.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Feedback<\/h3>\n<p>A feedback form will be emailed after the completion of a course or lecture.&nbsp; Any additional or immediate concerns are welcomed and can be handled by the office staff or committee member if appropriate.<\/p>\n<h3>Food and Drink<\/h3>\n<p>Only covered, spill-proof beverage containers are allowed in the classrooms. No food in classrooms, please.&nbsp; Soda and snack vending machines are located in our lobby.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Gift Certificates<\/h3>\n<p>OLLI Gift Certificates are a great gift for any occasion! Use the <a href=\"https:\/\/web.uri.edu\/alert\/\">URI Alert page<\/a> to find factual and timely information related to emergency situations, power outages, weather alerts and other campus notices.<\/p>\n<h3>Location<\/h3>\n<p>OLLI is located at 210 Flagg Rd on the URI Kingston campus in Building 210, 2nd floor. Classes meet at this location unless otherwise noted. Building is handicapped accessible. Visit&nbsp;Transportation and Parking&nbsp;for more specific information and directions.<\/p>\n<h3>Membership<\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/web.uri.edu\/olli\/membership\/\">Membership<\/a> is open to anyone 50 years of age &amp; older.&nbsp; The only prerequisite is a love of learning. The cost is $65 a year. &nbsp;Membership is valid for 12 months from the day you join. <em>(Membership fee is non-refundable.)<\/em><\/p>\n<h3>Parking<\/h3>\n<p>Access to a virtual <a href=\"https:\/\/uri.aimsparking.com\/\">parking pass<\/a> is provided soon after registration. Parking passes expire each year on July 31. Parking is available directly outside our building, in Lot #21. Additional lots are available with your OLLI membership. <a href=\"https:\/\/web.uri.edu\/olli\/directions\/\">Get parking directions<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3>Payment\/Refund Policy<\/h3>\n<p>Currently membership and course fees can be made by credit card or ACH payment online. Payment by check, payable to URI and mailed will continue to be accepted.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Memberships and Gift cards are non-refundable.<\/li>\n<li>To withdraw from a class and receive a full refund or credit, you must notify the OLLI office at least two weeks before the start of the class. Call the office at 401-874-4197 or email olli@uri.edu.<\/li>\n<li>No- shows forfeit their course fees.<\/li>\n<li>Day trips and special tours are prepaid so there are no refunds for cancellation or withdrawal.<\/li>\n<li>Classes that do not meet minimum student registration numbers are subject to cancellation.<\/li>\n<li>OLLI follows the University\u2019s policy of cancelling classes for certain holidays and because of inclement weather.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Perks<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Added Value Programs: Additional member only events and opportunities.
