5 Ways You Can Help Your OLLI today!<\/b><\/p>\n

  1. Are You on Facebook or Instagram? Add this (or something similar) to your Facebook page for us: <\/b>I\u2019m a member of a lifelong learning organization, OLLI. Each semester I can take classes taught by university professors and professionals in their fields in topics like science, art, literature, health, technology, travel and more. The best part of these college-like classes: They\u2019re aimed at people 50 and better, there are no tests and no grades! It\u2019s learning for the fun of it!   2. Do you live in an apartment or condo, or are you part of an association?  <\/b>Is there a bulletin board? Could you put a flyer somewhere people can see it? Let us know and we\u2019ll get it to you.<\/li>\n
  3. Do you belong to a service club, church group or coffee group? <\/b>Usually these groups have a \u201cwhat\u2019s new, what\u2019s up or \u2018happy dollars\u2019\u201d times. Can you bring up OLLI during those times? Talk about how much you love our learning opportunities and tell them our website? https:\/\/web.uri.edu\/olli\/<\/a><\/li>\n
  4. Tell your family. <\/b>OLLI makes a great gift. Tell them an OLLI membership or gift certificate would be a great birthday gift\/mother\u2019s day present\/father\u2019s day gift. OLLI is better than a new tie! Confused about how to do that? Gift Cards are available on our website or have them call us! 401-874-4197 or email olli@uri.edu<\/a><\/li>\n
  5. Would you be willing to give a testimonial? <\/b>We\u2019d love to talk to you in person or on Zoom to ask about your OLLI experience. We can use that on Facebook and other platforms to encourage people to join. Word of mouth is our best way to advertise!<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
