Intro to Handbells<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

This hands-on class offers the opportunity to learn a brief history of handbells, composition of a bell choir and ringing techniques. We will conclude with voluntary participation in playing a simple song. Participants will explore the handbells, learn how to read basic handbell music and join in a group ring. No previous music experience is needed.<\/p>\n

Trisha Halloran<\/strong> has been involved in playing in multiple bell choirs for 25 years.  She is currently directing the Peacedale Congregational Church bell choir. She has played the piano since she was young and currently gives piano lessons from her home. She currently works as a paralegal in Warwick.<\/em><\/p>\n

Create your own holiday arrangement with a mix of fresh-cut evergreens such as pine, cedar, spruce, holly, and ivy along with natural additions like rose hips and pinecones. A container with oasis will be provided. Participants are also welcomed to use their own 8\u201d or smaller container if they prefer, bring candles to include in their creation, or cut or forage from their own gardens to bring individual flair to their unique creations.<\/p>\n

Elaine Godfrey<\/strong> is the owner of Weed Weaver\u2019s floral design studio in Wakefield specializing in artistic florals that are naturally inspired and organic in design. Elaine is a gardener and designer who grows much of her own natural materials and loves to celebrate the best designer of all, Mother Nature.<\/em><\/p>\n
