On Saturday, June 22, 2024, the Cross\u2019 Mills Public Library will host its biennial garden tour from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.&nbsp; Rain or shine, the gardens await you. Behold colorful flowers as well as native plants. Visit a sustainable garden of trees, herbs, bulbs and perennials watered only by rain. Stroll through an array of magnificent Red Maples, American Chestnut and Harry Lauder\u2019s walking stick near Green Hill Pond. Old horse farms with amazing stone walls have been transformed into perennial beds and rare trees, hummingbirds, bees and dragonflies add to the enchantment. Tickets are $25, ($30 day of tour. Tickets may be purchased at the Library or online. Part of the Weaving Community Summer 2024 series.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>RI BRAIN HEALTH GUIDE-<\/strong>The Rhode Island Department of Health has released a new publication, \u201cA Guide for People Living with Dementia and Their Caregivers.\u201d The guide was created in collaboration with several area Alzheimer\u2019s and dementia organizations including the Memory and Aging Program.
