Workforce Development<\/h2>

The PDI delivers industry-designed workforce development programs that prepare the next generation of biopharmaceutical professionals. Our training spans the full biomanufacturing lifecycle, from cell culture and upstream processing to purification, analytical testing, quality, validation, and AI-enabled manufacturing. Participants gain hands-on experience with industry-relevant technologies, methodologies, and regulatory expectations. Courses are developed and taught by experienced biopharmaceutical professionals and subject matter experts.<\/p><\/div><\/div>

Analytical Testing<\/h2>

The PDI develops and optimizes analytical testing approaches for both small-molecule drugs and biologic products, helping clients establish reliable methods for evaluating product quality and performance. Services include product characterization, stability assessment, impurity evaluation, and support for formulation development, providing the information needed to make informed decisions throughout the development process.<\/p><\/div><\/div>

Early-Stage Drug Development<\/h2>

The PDI provides integrated early-stage drug development for small-molecule and biologic candidates. Capabilities include formulation development, analytical method development and pre-qualification, accelerated stability studies, and small-scale prototype manufacturing, all under one roof, with preclinical PK\/PD expertise available through the College of Pharmacy. As an academic facility, the PDI combines faculty expertise with scientific rigor beyond a typical CRO, making it an ideal partner for early-stage companies.<\/p><\/div><\/div>
