Survey of micro- and macroeconomic theory. (Lec. 3) Pre: graduate standing in accounting, labor and industrial relations, or M.B.A. program.<\/p>\n<h4>MBA500: Statistical Methods for Management<\/h4>\n<p>(3 crs.) Introductory statistical methods applied to business problems. Topics include descriptive statistics, probability, distributions, inference, regression analysis, chi-square analysis, and introduction to time series.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4>MBA502: Organizational Behavior<\/h4>\n<p>(3 crs,) Examination of the theory, research, and practice of organizational behavior in work settings, focusing on individual, interpersonal, group, and organizational factors influence work-relevant attitudes and behaviors.<\/p>\n<h4>MBA503: Financial Accounting<\/h4>\n<p>(3 crs.) Covers basic accounting principles, accounting systems design, and financial reporting issues. Focusing on financial statement analysis techniques necessary to accurately assess a company&#8217;s financial position and results of operations.<\/p>\n<h4>MBA504: Financial Management<\/h4>\n<p>(3 crs.) Functions and responsibilities of financial managers. Examination of: financial statement analysis, cost of capital, capital structure, valuation, markets, capital budgeting, working capital, mergers, bankruptcy, multinational finance.<\/p>\n<h4>MBA505: Managerial Marketing<\/h4>\n<p>(3 crs.) Analysis of marketing problems and determination of marketing policies in product development, promotion, pricing, channel selection; legal aspects.<\/p>\n<h4>MBA560: Operations and Supply Chain Management<\/h4>\n<p>(3 crs.) The management of manufacturing and service operations. Topics include flow processes, inventories, scheduling, capacity, and operations strategy.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4>MBA565: Strategic Management<\/h4>\n<p>(3 crs.) Integration of functional areas of business through case studies and simulation-based explorations of management problems, and the evaluation of alternative solutions. You must have completed two approved undergraduate courses (minimum grade B in each class) for each course taken within five years of when you matriculate. held at the RI Nursing Education Center (RINEC) in Providence. In the Part Time MBA program, Fall and Spring semester classes meet one night per week typically from 6-8:45pm either in person or online synchronous (with some online asynchronous courses offered as well) .
