We continuously collect and analyze data so that we can demonstrate that our programs are meeting expectations of both internal and external stakeholders.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>As of the end of August, 99% of the graduates had passed their NAPLEX boards and 96% had passed law exams. This year, law exams were taken in 21 different states!<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Here are some other interesting facts from the annual survey of graduating Pharm.D. students that is conducted nationally through the American Association of College of Pharmacy.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #003366\">We had an 84% survey response rate vs. a national response rate of 73%.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #003366\">In May, 97% of the graduates reported that they have employment plans in pharmacy.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #003366\">This year, more graduates matched to an ASHP accredited PGY1 residency than ever before \u2013 28%.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #003366\">We consistently have about 8-10% of graduates with plans to continue their education with the MBA being the predominate degree.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<blockquote><p>100 Students graduated in the Pharm.D. Class of 2013; this represents an on-time graduation rate of 93% for the students who started the professional program (P1 year) in 2009.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The AACP survey evaluates the quality of introductory and advanced practice rotations by response to numerous statements.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #003366\">Our graduates strongly agreed that the direct patient care experiences on rotations allowed them to collaborate with other health care professionals and helped them to achieve professional competency.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #003366\">The URI graduates also overwhelmingly reported that preceptors provided them with individualized attention so that they met their educational goals.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #003366\">In particular, students from URI reported higher agreement than national values that both the Introductory and Advanced practice experience sites were of high quality.
