This year&#8217;s theme was &#8220;Be the Change&#8221; which the team approached by creating a music video with which adapts Michael Jackson&#8217;s Man in the Mirror\u00a0with original pharmacy related lyrics. The chapter assembled a team to produce the video with pharmacy students being joined by Bianca Sperduti a physics major signing the lyrics.<\/span><br \/>\n<figure id=\"attachment_16639\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-16639\" style=\"width: 300px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-16639\" src=\"https:\/\/web.uri.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/1223\/bethechange2-300x149.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"149\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-16639\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Director, Steven Mathews (PharmD Class of 2017), Lyrics Krystal Memmer (PharmD Class of 2016) and Ariana Houle (PharmD Class of 2016), Singer Bianca Sperduti (Physics Class of 2015.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Not only is it a call to patients, but also a call to pharmacists that their integral role must be taken seriously.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 1.2em\">The product of this collaboration is a video titled &#8220;Man in the White Coat&#8221; which portrays the excitement the students have about taking an active role in patient care and displays the importance of pharmacists in healthcare.
