University Physical Therapy is a full-time outpatient clinic available to patients from the University and local community. The clinic is conveniently located in the Independence Square building, at 25 W. Independence Way<\/a> in Kingston.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Services provided at the clinic include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Evaluation and treatment of orthopedic and neurologic conditions            <\/li>
  • Ergonomic work-station evaluations<\/li>
  • Return to sport programs<\/li>
  • Aquatic therapy at Tootell Aquatic Center Pool<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    The clinic is staffed by licensed Physical Therapy Department faculty with advanced training in orthopedic and neurologic rehabilitation. Students are involved in the clinic in both voluntary and formal classroom-related experiences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The clinic participates with most insurance program, except Medicare and Medicaid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    • Isotonic, free-weight and Isokinetic strengthening and testing devices  <\/li>
    • Balance Master<\/li>
    • Work simulation equipment<\/li>
    • Simi 2D motion analysis<\/li>
    • GaitRite analysis of walking\"\"<\/li>
    • EMG biofeedback<\/li>
    • Cardiovascular equipment<\/li>
    • Electrical, thermal and cryotheraputic modalities<\/li>
    • Real-time Ultrasound<\/li>
