These professionals value and utilize evidence in practice, are committed to ongoing professional development, and actively contribute to their communities. The program also aspires to develop professionals who will provide care with the highest ethical standards to patient\/client populations within Rhode Island and nationwide. In pursuit of excellence for education, research, workforce development, and the profession of physical therapy, the program promotes interdisciplinary learning and evidence-based practice, while also advocating for diversity, equity, and inclusion.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n<section class=\"cl-wrapper cl-boxout-wrapper\"><div class=\"cl-boxout  \"><h1>Goals<\/h1>\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n<\/div><\/section>\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The program faculty will:&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> Prepare doctors of physical therapy who are competent to provide physical therapy services to diverse patient\/client populations, across the lifespan, in Rhode Island and nationwide.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> Prepare clinical scholars for evidence based practice and participation in scholarly activities.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> Prepare practitioners with high standards of professional conduct demonstrated through participation in the professional organization;
