The event brought together students from a variety of health disciplines\u2014including medicine, nursing, pharmacy, and social work\u2014to collaborate and strengthen their understanding of team-based patient care.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Through small-group discussions and case-based learning activities, students explored strategies for effective communication, role recognition, and coordinated care delivery. The IPE event emphasized the importance of mutual respect and collaboration among healthcare professionals to improve patient outcomes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>URI\u2019s DPT students valued the opportunity to engage with peers from other programs and to apply interprofessional skills that will be essential in their future clinical practice.
