{"id":17027,"date":"2025-06-26T18:56:09","date_gmt":"2025-06-26T22:56:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/web.uri.edu\/prehealth\/?page_id=17027"},"modified":"2025-06-26T18:56:09","modified_gmt":"2025-06-26T22:56:09","slug":"transcripts","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/web.uri.edu\/prehealth\/transcripts\/","title":{"rendered":"Transcripts"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Official transcripts are required from each institution at which you\u2019ve taken collegiate coursework\u2014this includes any college-level courses you took in high school, summer courses at a separate institution, or international coursework.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When completing your application in AMCAS or other services, you\u2019ll fill out a PDF and send it to URI. URI uses Parchment for transcript submissions.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Important information about timing your request:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>If you took courses during the Spring semester, be sure to wait until all of your final grades have been posted before you submit the request.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>For students graduating this year, it is best to wait to request your transcript until after your degree has been officially conferred; you can check this by looking at your unofficial transcript OR by receipt of an email notification from Enrollment Services or your degree granting college (ie: CELS) that your degree has been conferred.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>For those taking summer courses, you do need to send an official transcript that includes record of the course(s).
