The URI Professional Staff Association (URIPSA) is comprised of 500 professional employees at the University of Rhode Island. URI’s professional staff on campus supports every aspect of the University’s mission, from supporting classroom instruction to financial administration, from administering student affairs functions to computer support, and from athletic departments to facility design our employees span the entire university. URI PSA member employees tend to the daily business of the University and are essential to its fundamental functions.
We negotiate the terms of our collective bargaining agreement (aka ‘the contract’ ); assist members who seek salary increases; represent members in the grievance process; donate sick time when members have a need; and offer an annual scholarship and more.
