Biography

Professor Webster is passionate about teaching and mentoring students. She regularly teaches required courses for undergraduate students in quantitative statistics and introduction to psychological research methods.  She has also taught social psychology at the undergraduate and graduate level as well as an undergraduate course in developmental psychology.  In addition to her commitment to her personal students, she is an active advisor to nearly 40 undergraduate students.  Her service includes mentoring student Honors Projects, and she is a member of the Department of Psychology’s Undergraduate Committee dedicated to advocating for the approximately 800 undergraduates in the department.  She also serves on several graduate students’ Master’s and Dissertation committees. 

Research

Dr. Webster’s current professional and personal interests encompass a wide range of areas from women’s health, including quality of life for women and couples struggling with infertility. She continues her interest in philosophy of science and methodological practices within a feminist and multicultural context.  After receiving her Ph.D., Dr. Webster spent 15 years in the corporate-world providing analytic training in the use of predictive marketing strategies and technologies associated with data storage, emerging blockchain technology, analytic automation, and machine learning offering artificial intelligence for data driven decision making.
