They will be trained as researchers who investigate variables that lead&nbsp;to health disparities in order to create models and strategies to solve current and emerging health issues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>S<\/strong>pecific program learning outcomes:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Develop an intersectional framework to understand the complex interplay of social determinants of health and how they intersect to contribute to health disparities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Design strategic plans that operationalize intersectional frameworks to effectively target and reduce health disparities<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Utilize project management tools to ensure intervention fidelity for public health program evaluation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Develop qualitative and qualitative research tools needed to be able to evaluate the impact of public health programs<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Identify, analyze and evaluate grant funding opportunities and mechanisms.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Develop grant writing skills by completing a comprehensive grant application adhering to the guidelines and requirements of a funding agency.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Master of Public Health Learning Outcomes Graduates of this program will be professionals prepared to promote health&nbsp;equity and reduce health disparities locally, nationally, and globally.
