She was selected to receive this award due to\u00a0her desire\u00a0to\u00a0learn and strong initiative in class, on the Action Board.\u00a0 Ana integrates new ideas quickly and effectively and\u00a0demonstrates\u00a0tremendous potential for leadership in health science.\u00a0 She participated in research\u00a0work with Drs. Sabik and Cohen and has abstracts under review for the American Public Health Association meeting.
