The Quinlan lab is dedicated to investigating how spinal neurons change and deteriorate in neurodegenerative diseases or after injuries where movement is critically impaired or lost. The lab\u2019s research focuses on identifying the early morphological and electrophysiological changes that precede motor deficits, with a goal of developing new biomarkers, identifying early disease events that could lead to an earlier diagnosis, and finding potential pharmaceutical therapies for these complex diseases. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
