The class component is one criteria used in determining whether a class receives an IDEA course evaluation.&nbsp;Learn more about which courses receive evaluations <a href=\"https:\/\/web.uri.edu\/provost\/faculty-resources\/idea\/idea-for-students\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">COMBINED SECTION<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Combined sections are two separate courses offered at the same time by the same instructor(s). Combined sections must be approved by Faculty Senate as cross-listed courses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">CLASS MODE OF INSTRUCTION<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>In-person (I)<\/strong>:&nbsp;A course with no more than 24.9% of instruction delivered online. All courses are assumed to be in-person unless otherwise approved by Faculty Senate.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Blended (B)<\/strong>: A course delivered 25%-74.9% online.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Online (O)<\/strong>: A course delivered at least 75% online.&nbsp;Course must be approved as online by Faculty Senate to be scheduled as such.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">INSTRUCTOR NAME<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong> It is critical the full formal name (first, middle initial and last) and a verified employee ID number are provided.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">INSTRUCTOR ROLES<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Each individual connected to a class is assigned a role. Multiple individuals may be assigned the same role.
