State employees must contact&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/web.uri.edu\/hr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Human Resource Administration<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Current students and student employees may request a username change. Your URI email will also be changed to match the new username. Enrollment Services does not change usernames\/emails for former students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Requests will be approved under the following scenarios:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li> The student has\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/web.uri.edu\/registration-records\/change-your-name\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"346\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">legally changed their name and submitted the appropriate documentation<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The student&#8217;s current username is offensive\/inappropriate<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The student is transitioning gender <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The student&#8217;s current username contains a portion of their Social Security Number.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Enrollment Services reserves the right not to approve username changes deemed offensive, confusing, misleading, already in use or for other reasons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Requests may take up to 14 business days to be reviewed and implemented.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Log in to the below form using your current URI student email username and password.
