At this time, URI is operating in Phase 5 of a five phase plan. Guidance related to Phase 5 requirements is available in the COVID Emergency Human Subject Research Guidance (6/24/2020). As part this guidance, the Office of Research Integrity (ORI) recommends providing research participants with the COVID-19 Risk Information Sheet for Participants 5/05/2021. ORI also encourages investigators to consider using vaccination as an inclusion criteria in studies where appropriate.

This phase system is fluid and may change at any time due to changing COVID conditions in our community.  Notices will be posted on the URI’s website, RESEARCH-L and posted publicly.
