Research Development can help you get a sense of what types of projects an organization funds by reviewing abstracts of recently funded proposals. We also will help you connect with&nbsp; a program officer to briefly discuss your project and get a clear sense of whether or not it is worth preparing a proposal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"resources\">Funding Search Resources<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/spin.infoedglobal.com\">SPIN Database<\/a><br>The SPIN&nbsp; database, available free to URI users, contains funding opportunities from more than 10,000 unique sponsors, both public and private, domestic and international, and more than 40,000 programs. Log in under \u201cusing institutional credentials\u201d. Research Development can help you create a targeted funding search that will alert you regularly to new opportunities in your area.than 40,000 programs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>RESRCH-L<\/strong><br>RESRCH-L is a listserv that provides information for members of the URI research community. Topics include funding opportunities, proposal development, budgetary information, compliance in research, intellectual property, and technology transfer. To ensure that URI doesn\u2019t exceed the permitted number of applications, principle investigators must contact Karen Markin in the Office of Research Development to express their interest in any limited competition.
