Esports is a growing area of digital transformation and collegiate competition among universities, providing a pathway for increased social connections among students, alignment with new degree programs, increased university reputation, and a host of other benefits. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Rhody Esports Coalition (REC) is a collaboration group with members across academics, IT and student interest groups. Together the team has been working on research, data collection, partnership building, proposal writing, and pursuing potential funding pathways. REC meets every 3 weeks during the academic year. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
