Communicating with a person living with Alzheimer\u2019s or a related dementia, and their caregivers requires patience, and understanding. At the end of the session, learners will have an improved understanding of the different stages of Alzheimer\u2019s disease and how this affects the person\u2019s ability to communicate.<\/p>\n<h3>Learning Objectives<\/h3>\n<p><em>Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Identify the different stages of Alzheimer\u2019s disease<\/li>\n<li>Identify communication changes that occur in each stage of Alzheimer\u2019s disease<\/li>\n<li>Establish strategies for effectively communicating with people living with Alzheimer\u2019s disease or another form of dementia<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Presenter<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Jennifer M.
