Users outside of URI may request access to URI computing resources by applying for a 1-year renewable affiliate status. Please contact Dr. Hemme for instructions.<\/p>\n<h2>Additional Computational Resources<\/h2>\n<p>URI and RI-INBRE participate in the <a href=\"https:\/\/web.uri.edu\/riinbre\/rhode-island-inbre-molecular-informatics-core-mic\/mic-nih-strides-initiative\/\">NIH STRIDES Initiative<\/a> to increase access to and use of cloud computing resources for use in biomedical research.&nbsp; The core currently uses Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for some applications and is expanding into the use of <a href=\"https:\/\/terra.bio\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Terra<\/a>-based platforms (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.researchallofus.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">All of Us<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nimhd.nih.gov\/resources\/schare\/register-for-schare.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ScHARe<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/anvilproject.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">AnVIL<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/biodatacatalyst.nhlbi.nih.gov\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">BioData Catalyst<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.humancellatlas.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Human Cell Atlas<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/datascience.cancer.gov\/data-commons\/cloud-resources\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the National Cancer Institute Cloud Resources<\/a>.
