As Executive Director of Drug Product Design & Development at Pfizer, Advait Badkar leads a global organization within Biotherapeutics Pharmaceutical Sciences that drives innovation across the company\u2019s biotech and vaccine portfolio. His leadership spans the full continuum of drug product development\u2014from early research through licensure and commercial lifecycle management\u2014ensuring robust formulation and process strategies for a wide range of modalities including peptides, both microbial and mammalian-derived proteins, vaccines, and RNA-based therapeutics. As Head of Advanced Drug Delivery, he provides scientific, technical, strategic, and regulatory leadership for Pfizer\u2019s portfolio programs that depend on next-generation delivery technologies.  Additional info:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Advait holds a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Mercer University, an M.S. in Pharmaceutics from Auburn University, and a B.S. in Pharmacy from Pune University. He is an Adjunct Full Professor in the Department of Biomedical and Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Rhode Island, serves on the Board of Directors of the Subcutaneous Drug Delivery Consortium, and is an active member of the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists and the Controlled Release Society. Advait is an inventor on more than 12 patents, has authored over 35 peer-reviewed publications, and delivered more than 50 scientific presentations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
