Walsh works with the talented staff and partners of the Coastal Resources Center to use science to address societal issues and achieve sustainable communities in New England and around the World. He is a geological oceanographer interested in understanding coastal processes and hazards. Dr. Walsh&#8217;s research focuses on sedimentary dynamics and related issues such as coastal erosion and habitat loss.
