These instruments will be housed in the CRCF and core personnel are currently being trained on their use.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>10X Genomics Chromium X for Single Cell Assays<\/strong>.&nbsp; The Chromium X is 10X<\/p>\n<p><strong style=\"font-style: normal;font-family: Charter, Georgia, serif;font-size: 20px\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-36820 alignright\" style=\"font-size: 20px\" src=\"https:\/\/web.uri.edu\/riinbre\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/1497\/10X-Genomics-Chromium-X.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"236\" height=\"214\"><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;Genomics\u2019 next generation single cell system, allowing for low-to-high throughput single cell <span style=\"font-family: Charter, Georgia, serif;font-size: 20px\">assays using the latest 10X Genomics chemistries and analysis of millions of cells.&nbsp; With this instrument, users can conduct assays for gene expression (RNA-seq), chromatin accessibility (ATAC-seq), multiomic ATAC + gene expression, and single cell immune profiling.&nbsp; You can find more information on the Chromium X at 10X Genomics\u2019 site (<\/span><a style=\"font-family: Charter, Georgia, serif;font-size: 20px\" href=\"https:\/\/www.10xgenomics.com\/instruments\/chromium-x-series\">Link<\/a><span style=\"font-family: Charter, Georgia, serif;font-size: 20px\">).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong style=\"font-style: normal;font-family: Charter, Georgia, serif;font-size: 20px\">&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>10X Genomics Visium CytAssist for Discovery Spatial Omics Assays.<\/strong>&nbsp; The 10X Visium HD platform allows for discovery spatial omics.&nbsp; Using standard tissue slice methods, users can perform gene expression or gene-protein expression<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-36823 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/web.uri.edu\/riinbre\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/1497\/10X-Genomics-Visium-CytAssist.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"225\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/web.uri.edu\/riinbre\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/1497\/10X-Genomics-Visium-CytAssist.jpeg 225w, https:\/\/web.uri.edu\/riinbre\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/1497\/10X-Genomics-Visium-CytAssist-150x150.jpeg 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" \/> analyses on the same samples used for microscopy applications.&nbsp; When combined with single cell data from the Chromium X, users will be able to study gene expression at single cell resolution in a spatial context which can then be used to inform more advanced <em>in situ<\/em> spatial analyses.&nbsp;
