Would an interactive sculptural installation encourage kids to take an interest in the \u201cdrumming signals\u201d local woodpeckers use to communicate? Is it possible to make art explaining the concept of undersea quasi-permanence and the impact of ocean movement on coral reefs?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Researchers from Brown University, the University of Rhode Island, Roger Williams University and Rhode Island College are seeking answers to such questions as participants in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vis-a-thon.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Vis-a-thon 2025<\/a>, a unique collaborative program hosted by RISD\u2019s&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/naturelab.risd.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Edna W. Lawrence Nature Lab<\/a> and led by visionary bio-educators&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.risd.edu\/people\/georgia-rhodes\">Georgia Rhodes<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/stewstew.cargo.site\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Stewart Skylar Copeland MFA 19 DM<\/a>.
