On June 13, 2026, Beginning of Imagination Learning Center opened its doors to the Pawtucket community, marking an important milestone for owner and principal Gbessay Graham. Drawing on her home daycare experience and master\u2019s degree in early childhood development, Graham created a larger center serving children from birth through age five with a play-based curriculum grounded in the Rhode Island Early Learning and Development Standards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The expansion took nearly two years of planning as Graham navigated construction, financing, architectural plans, and regulatory requirements. With support from RISBDC Providence Center Director Yashwant Meghare, she evaluated her financing needs and secured a business loan and grant funding from LISC. She also worked with RISBDC Marketing Specialist Trish White on the center\u2019s website, marketing plan, awareness, and enrollment support. Today, Beginning of Imagination Learning Center brings Graham\u2019s passion for early childhood education to more Pawtucket families.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
