Amy has a natural entrepreneurial spirit, and when she discovered a lack of cheerleading gyms in Rhode Island, she took it upon herself to open a new center; unique from its competitors, to fill the area’s need. Amy’s daughter has followed their head coach, Casey, throughout the state for cheerleading and this is when Amy noticed the need in RI, especially in Southern Rhode Island. Amy, who previously coached cheerleading, saw great talent in Casey Lesieur and her ability to work with kids of all ages, and hired her as the center’s head coach.

At New England Tumble Force, they offer a multitude of classes and programs to fit the needs of their clients. They have five cheerleading teams utilizing the facilities, with 5-35 athletes per team. New England Tumble Force (NETF) is the only level six All-Star cheerleading gym in Rhode Island, meaning their teams are ages 18+. Another unique element to NETF is they provide fitness circuits for parents who want to stay and watch their children in the upstairs part of their facility. At NETF they work to prepare their All-Star cheerleading team for competitions that occur from January-May, in hopes of qualifying for the most prestige competition in Disney World.

New England Tumble Force opened its doors in May of 2017 at a leased space. They had such an intense demand right from the start that they are now in expansion phase- purchasing land and constructing their own facilities, which will provide enough space to meet the growing demands and more. Amit Basnet from the RISBDC has been working with them since day 1 and currently assisted them with the loan package development. Their SBA loan application is already approved and in final stages of closing. The new construction will begin soon and is expected to be completed by May 2018.

Amit Basnet (RISBDC), Casey Lesieur (NETF Head Coach), & Amy Wahlberg (NETF Owner)

New England Tumble Force
567 South County Trail, Suite 105
Exeter, RI 02822
Email: info@netumbleforce.com
www.netumbleforce.com

Women owned and operated is the motto here at New England Tumble Force, a brand-new, state of the art All-Star cheerleading and family fitness center run by Amy Wahlberg.
