He will be working to develop new polymer chemistries to promote bridge formation in colloidal suspensions.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text alignwide is-stacked-on-mobile is-vertically-aligned-top\" style=\"grid-template-columns:35% auto\"><figure class=\"wp-block-media-text__media\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/web.uri.edu\/soft-matter-lab\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/1895\/SepehrYari-768x1024.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1123 size-full\" \/><\/figure><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Sepehr Yari<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Sepehr joins us from Sharif University of Technology where he completed his Bachelors in Materials Science and Engineering. He will be working on a joint project with Dr. <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/web.uri.edu\/cheme\/meet\/daniel-roxbury\/\" target=\"_blank\">Daniel Roxbury<\/a> (URI CHE) to investigate the intracellular dynamics of carbon nanotubes as a physical sensor of cellular health.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Undergraduate students:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text alignwide is-stacked-on-mobile is-vertically-aligned-top\" style=\"grid-template-columns:35% auto\"><figure class=\"wp-block-media-text__media\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/web.uri.edu\/soft-matter-lab\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/1895\/GabrielStradtman-1024x959.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1093 size-full\" \/><\/figure><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Gabriel Stradtman<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Gabriel is a Junior working towards his Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering.
