<\/td>\nClean Air Act (1997), consisting of, briefing books, fact sheets, congressional research service reports, general reports, and pro and con Clean Air Act news articles. The records include legislation aimed at curbing ground-level ozone and fine particle pollutants raising the Environmental Protection Agency’s air quality standards.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
<\/td>\nDisaster Relief: Blizzard of 1978, consisting of Rhode Island Emergency Hearing testimonies and the Governor’s plan for snow removal and restoration efforts. Subjects include correspondence and memoranda regarding the federal reaction to the emergency.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
<\/td>\nDomenici Grazing Bill (1995-1996), concerning the Livestock Grazing Act and the substitute version titled the Public Rangelands Management Act. The bills called for extending terms on grazing leases from ten to twelve years and the lowering of grazing fees. The bill also gave ranchers proprietary rights on water resources on federal lands and excluded the public from management decisions.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
