STEEP researchers will discuss the science of hazardous chemicals called PFAS and their occurrence in U.S. drinking water supplies, including on Cape Cod. Scientists will also share what they are learning about the health effects from exposures and how the chemicals move through the environment and <b>present preliminary findings from the STEEP private wells study on Cape Cod<\/b>.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: small\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: small\"><strong>RSVP to:&nbsp; <span class=\"gmail-m_-3831465931845144819gmail-qu\"><span class=\"gmail-m_-3831465931845144819gmail-go\"><a href=\"mailto:superfundsteep@etal.uri.edu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">superfundsteep@etal.uri.edu<\/a><\/span><\/span> <\/strong><\/span><\/div>\n<div>&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: small\">The event is free and open to the public.
