Harvard Horizons celebrates the ideas and innovations of PhD students at Harvard and helps them gain essential professional skills.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMy work is trying to sound the alarm,\u201d Pickard says. \u201cThese precursors [pre-PFAS chemicals] we&#8217;ve assumed aren\u2019t a problem, probably are.
