Analytical advancements have allowed for improved detection of PFAS in humans, which in turn allows for improved PFAS exposure profiling. However, PFAS composition varies among sources, which can have associated adverse health effects. This study assessed PFAS concentrations in several demographic groups\u2019 serum samples to identify possible similarities in exposure sources. The study\u2019s findings show that PFAS profiles in human serum provide important information, like a chemical fingerprint, on major exposure sources of the chemicals.
