Description:
<\/strong>Following an investigation, in which the members of Theta Delta Chi participated fully and cooperatively, the University found sufficient evidence to support that Theta Delta Chi had engaged in hazing activities during the Fall 2024 and Spring 2025 semesters, including the following:

\u2022 New members were coerced or forced to engage in pointless tasks and embarrassing activities
\u2022 New members were coerced or forced to engage in \u201cInterrogation style\u201d interviews.
\u2022 New members were coerced or forced to engage in pointless tasks, such as a Scavenger Hunt.
\u2022 Serving\/providing alcohol to new members during multiple events.
\u2022 New members were coerced or forced to engage in the heavy consumption of alcohol.
\u2022 New members were coerced or forced to engage in personal acts of servitude. This included:
1. Cleaning brothers\u2019 houses before and after parties and
2. Driving brothers to and from parties <\/td><\/tr>
Violations:
<\/strong>\u2022 06. Hazing
\u2022 04. Endangering Behavior
\u2022 10. Misuse of Alcohol
\u2022 18. Violation of any University Policy, Rule, or Regulation<\/td><\/tr>
Did the hazing violation involve the abuse or illegal use of alcohol or drugs?
<\/strong>\u2022 Yes<\/td><\/tr>
Sanctions:
<\/strong>\u2022 Disciplinary probation from August 25, 2025\u2013May 15, 2027
\u2022 Suspension of Recruitment for Fall 2025. Restricted recruitment for Spring 2026 if all other sanctions are met and the \u201cNew Initiate Education Plan\u201d is approved.
\u2022 Fraternity Risk Management Policy Review and Affirmation and \u201cReal Risk\u201d Training
\u2022 Suspension of New Member Activities until Spring 2026
\u2022 Oversight & Governance monitoring and support
\u2022 Educational and Cultural Programming
\u2022 Academic and Mental Health Programming
\u2022 Development of Chapter Standards and Code of Conduct<\/td><\/tr>
Outcome(s):
