FOR CATEGORY R Organizations:<\/p>\n
Complete the Budget Request e-form on Sakai .<\/p>\n
FOR CATEGORY M & S Organizations:
\n1. \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Prepare a budget for the upcoming academic year with a detailed explanation, in Word or Excel format. (An example is attached to this announcement on Sakai.)
\n2. \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Complete the Budget Request e-form on Sakai, attaching the aforementioned documents.
\n3. \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0You will receive notification of your First Recommendation via your Senate Office mailbox in
\nroom 201 in the Memorial Union. \u00a0You are required to return the attached “Happy\/Not Happy” form
\naccepting or challenging the 1st Rec.
\n4. \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0If you choose to challenge the 1st Rec, appeals will be heard at a Finance Committee meeting.
\nYour 2nd Recommendation will be given to you with another “Happy\/Not Happy” form.
\n5. \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0The Budget Bill will be put on the Senate floor.
\n6. \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0The President and\/or Treasurer of all Category M & S organizations shall attend the Senate Meeting at
\nwhich the bill will be voted on. \u00a0You will be asked if you accept or want to appeal the recommendation.
