2:07<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>ATTENDANCE:<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Committee:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> Chairperson Kohl, Chairperson Morabito, Interim-Chairperson Straube, Senator Bagley, Senator Barnes, Senator Ndayishimiye<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Absent:<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Non-Committee: <\/b><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>DISCUSSION: <\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">A vice-chair is needed, if you are interested contact Chairperson Kohl<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Due to rain the Suicide Awareness day has been moved to next wednesday<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Sign-up sheet will be going out in general<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">It is extremely important to sign up, not only because of participation is important but also it shows the importance of the topic<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Fall Fest is coming up, October 10th<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Pumpkins and apples<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Looking to add an element of diversity<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Could we do a can drive or a clothing<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Anything with food contact Rhody Outpost<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Possibly make it into a competition between the colleges and programs<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Problem with clothing drives with people stealing and the limited amount of extra clothes for those that are out of state<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Talking with other organizations?<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Maybe having this kind of drive later in the semester and using Fall Fest as a way to publicize it<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Suggestion box at Fall Fest for the Cultural Committee<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Working with other committees to doing a large event at the end of the semester about giving resources<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">September 26th is the Drug and Alcohol Abuse Prevention Day<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Original idea was to obtain drunk goggles from Health Services but they do not want to loan them out to students<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Police were contacted about getting some drunk goggles, waiting to hear back<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Backup plans:<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Dizzy bat<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Simulate the importance of designated driving by having a non-blindfolded person directing blindfolded people through an obstacle course<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Involving other organizations<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Flow<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Trivia<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Solo cup games (marking the bottom of cups to symbolize the dangers of drinking)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Chairperson Kohl spoke with George Gallien, Director of Multicultural Student Services Center<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Creating a program about student led art show in the ballroom<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Utilizing the Diversity Cafe<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Mediation<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Bingo<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Trivia<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Yoga<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">etc.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Overnight retreat with Senate<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Possibly bringing in other organizations to bond with them<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Sawa is having a meeting Monday 7:00 pm, Senator Ndayishimiye recommends being involved with not only them but the other
